Team TRIO is a support network for FAMILIES with loved affected by TRIO GENE MUTATION as well as for PROFESSIONALS.
We offer impacted families support, resources, and advocacy.
We want as well to increase awareness in the medical arena and community at large.
Our main activities
Supporting ongoing medical research and encourage new ones on the TRIO gene mutation
Creating opportunities for families to personally interact
Documenting medical findings and creating patient profiles
Creating a handbook for newly diagnosed persons and their caregivers
Host local, family-friendly, social events
Host an annual international medical conference
Encourage membership in an online forum to exchange ideas, support, and experiences
