Once she was born she was perfect. Aside from some sucking difficulties, we went home after 3 days as planned. At our 3 week check-up, our pediatrician was concerned about her head circumference.

Ever since Delilah was born we knew something wasn't quite right. She couldn't feed properly as soon as she was born and was failing to thrive when she came home.
As Delilah grew older we noticed she wasn't reaching her milestones such as talking. After expressing our concerns to our health visitor she referred us to a paediatrician.

Saoirse (Ser Sha) is a strong and free-spirited girl aged 8 who was born in Limerick in the Republic of Ireland but we now live in West Yorkshire, UK. She was born healthy, full term after an uneventful pregnancy, after a quick labour she arrived as an unplanned homebirth a healthy weight of 8lb.

Our story goes right back to birth which makes it difficult to really attribute everything to the gene mutation or things he experienced along the way. I had a great pregnancy absolutely no issues. He decided he wanted to come a week early. When he was born the cord was wrapped around his neck and it took what felt like forever for him to take his first breath.

Chase loves physical activities such as running, playing in the swimming pool, and hiking. He enjoys painting and playing with play-doh. He has a fantastic sense of imagination and plays well independently. At age 11 playing with wooden blocks, Legos and toy trains are still long-time favorites. He loves playing with his older brother. He loves train-spotting and watching movies. He has a fantastic long-term memory and strives to be helpful. Chase has a great grin and gives top-notch hugs…
